The powerful and unscrupulous "Blackie DuQuesne", backed by the great indutsrial combine of the World Steel Corporation attempts murder and theft to gain the secret. But, a dire accident leaves Seaton, DuQuesne, and three companions marooned, thousands of light-years from Earth . . . with only one chance in a million of surviving . . .
