Today Uvula Audio premieres a new two-part novella bookcast. This new horror/SF story was written by Edmond Hamilton in 1949 and first published in the magazine Thrilling Wonder Stories. It has seldom been reprinted. I remember reading this awesome story in The Great SF Stories 11(year:1949) which came out in 1984, and I have not seen it anywhere since. It is partly a brilliant adventure story, party a bit of early psychedelia, partly a thought experiment, partly a Lovecraftian horror story, and partly a plunge into the Heart of Darkness in a way that Joseph Conrad would have really appreciated.
